Who has never dreamed of truly possessing their loved one? Who has never felt that knot in their stomach at the thought of seeing the other disappear, the desire to have them inside them? Inspired by real events and mythical stories, Élisa Monteil and Rebecca Chaillon explore the fantasy of violent passion and cannibalistic love through monsters of love: those who love to the point of death; those who have ingested their companions; those who have killed and romanticised, those who are ready to destroy everything, to kill for lack of love. We will summon these obscene tales in a ritualistic and sacred manner in order to better invoke our own demons on stage.
